Skills check boxes. Many applications these days use some form of electronic process to parse through all the resumes being submitted. I get it. There are a lot of applicants, and you have a need for a specific set of skills. If you have made it here, you are likely to find the abilities you need to tackle your challenges down in the skills section of my resume. But I hope you take a moment to think about the higher-level combination of skills, experience, and personality as well. I'm always adding new skills to my repertoire to keep my mind sharp and agile. My experience and personality always keep me moving, finding new ways to reframe challenges and better ways to accomplish shared goals. Whether a new programming language, design system, industry, or scuba diving, I'm always primed for a new adventure.
